Judy Lawrence drove school busses for 20 years at USV
Judy A. Lawrence, 73, died on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at 8:31 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on July 18, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to the late Francis and Doris (Baughman) Edens. In November 1970 Judy married Thomas A. Lawrence who survives in Huntsville.
Judy retired from the Upper Scioto Valley School Systems, where she drove bus for over 20 years. She was a lifelong member of the Alger Assembly of God Church. She was a 1964 graduate of Ada High School. Judy enjoyed cooking, liked her flowers, quilting, going out to eat and traveling. The most important thing Judy enjoyed was spending time with her family.
She is also survived by three sons: Brian (Michelle) Lawrence of Lima, Steven (Jan) Lawrence of Eldorado and Matt Lawrence of Alger; a daughter, Susan (Greg) Stites of Huntsville; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a brother, Mike (Barbara) Edens of Quincy; a sister, Susan “Jan” (Tony) Caldwell of Cardington; and several nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her four sisters: Carolyn, Marie, Paula and Lori.
Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Alger Assembly of God Church, 7050 State Route 235, Alger. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
