Premier Lacrosse League championship game has ONU connection
Ohio Northern head men's lacrosse coach Nat St. Laurent will guide his Redwoods team against the Whipsnakes in the inaugural Premier Lacrosse League Championship Game on Saturday at 2:30 pm.
The game will be played at Talon Energy Stadium in Philadelphia and will be shown live on NBC.
St. Laurent has served as head coach of Redwoods LC in the first season of the PLL, guiding the team to a 5-5 regular season record and two playoff victories.
Fans can watch the game live on NBC or via live stream through any of the NBC Sports platforms.
Ohio Northern will open its fifth season under St. Laurent on Feb. 14 at home against Southern Virginia at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
St. Laurent is the second Polar Bear to appear on NBC in recent history, as ONU alum and 9-time NCAA National Champion Emily Richards competed in the finals of the 800-meter run at the US Track and Field Championships in June 2017.
