Ada Historical Society invites you on a Sunday tour
The Ada Historical Society invites residents to a free Woodlawn Cemetary tour from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20.
“Learn about the rich history of our great village through live action portrayals of our diverse and fascinating ancestors,” said Rhett Grant, member of the historical society.
Tours start on the east side of the cemetery and take about 30 minutes.
Seven Ada High School students will participate in the tours by portraying former Ada residents. The students and persons they portray follow:
• Reece Evans will portray William H. Morrow
• Alex Morgan will portray Albert Rogall
• Daniel Nash will portray W. R. Routson
• J.D. Schrader will portray W.E. Binkley
• Josie Poling will portray Daisy Krofft
• Courtney McLaughlin will portray Mae McAlpin
• Alyssa Wince will portray Carolyn Ames
In case of severe weather, the tours will take place at the Ada Public Library, 320 N. Main St., Ada.
