Megan Light hit for a team-high 14 kills and made five blocks

CRIDERSVILLE - Visiting Ada swept former league foe Perry in a non-conference match Wednesday night to finish the regular season on an up note.
The Lady Bulldogs improved their record to 10-12 overall with the 25-13, 25-19, 25-12 win. Perry dropped to 1-12 with the defeat.
Junior Megan Light hit for a team-high 14 kills and made five blocks to lead Ada. Junior Miranda Wills compiled eight kills, nine digs and two aces.
Senior libero Kendal Guagenti mustered up 10 digs and served a pair of aces. Versatile sophomore setter Kirsten Poling passed out 22 assists, hit five kills and served up four aces.
Junior Aubrey Madison hit four kills, passed out eight assists and dealt two aces.
The Lady Bulldog reserves also beat Perry, 2-1.
The seventh-seeded Bulldog girls begin sectional first round play at sixth seed Arlington (8-12) Tuesday, October 15. Ada beat Arlington 2-0 back on August 31.
The winner advances to the second round against fourth-seeded MAC foe Minster (13-8) or 13th seed Waynesfield (3-16) Thursday, Oct. 17 at number two sectional seed New Knoxville.
