Councilor Cathy Cole Day in Ada
Lifelong Ada resident, Cathy Cole, was recognized by the village as Mayor David Retterer designated Wednesday, Dec. 18, as "Councilor Cathy Cole Day in the Village of Ada."
Cole is going off the Ada council at the end of the year after serving on it for 14 years.
The wording of the mayoral proclaimation designating the special day follows:
Whereas, Cathy Cole has served as a counselor for the Village of Ada for 14 years, and
Whereas, Cathy has served as the chair of the personnel committee for most of those years of service with the Village of Ada, and
Whereas, the Village of Ada has benefitted greatly from the insight Cathy has shared in the ongoing operations of the Village of Ada, therefore I do proclaim that Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, is Councilor Cathy Cole Day in the Village of Ada and invite all to thank Cathy for her long and valuable service to the village.
And, in witness hereof, I have signed this proclamation and have put the official seat of the Mayor of Ada, Ohio, on it today, Dec. 17, 2019.
