Fuller, Moses soccer All-Americans
The United Soccer Coaches released its Scholar All-American teams Wednesday. A couple familiar names on the Ohio Northern women's soccer team were recognized.
Junior forward Jenna Fuller (Countryside, Ill./Lyons Township) was named a first-team Scholar All-American, while senior midfielder Haley Moses (Mason) was a second-team Scholar All-American.
Fuller started all 24 games this past season. She netted a team-high 20 goals, which is the most by a Polar Bear in a single season since 1997. Fuller currently ranks fourth all-time in school history with 48 career scores, and her 43 points in 2019 gave her 113 for her career, which is good enough for sixth all-time.
Moses appeared in and started all 24 matches in 2019. She ended the season with three goals, three assists, which gave her 20 assists for her career, and that's tied for ninth all-time in program history.
Northern finished the season with an 18-3-3 overall record and its second-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament's third round.
