Ada's February and March events calling you
The Ada Icon has the rest of winter and early spring planned for you.
It’s all in the four-page attached Hometown Happenings calendar of events revealing what’s happening here in February and March.
The only catch is that this is a leap year and it appears that nothing is planned on Feb. 29, which must mean Icon viewers get the day off.
February begins with a Day of Dance 2020 at ONU with a performance at The Freed Center.
And, later on, there’s Valentine’s Day, spring picture day at the school, an Ada HS drama production, several programs on the night skies at the ONU observatory and music by the fireside at The Inn to keep you warm.
The two-month calendar lists events open to the public from:
• the wider community
• Ada schools
• Ohio Northern University
• ONU observatory
• The Freed Center
• The Inn at ONU
• Public meetings
• Village service schedule
• Ada Public Library
Darlene Bowers compiles the Hometown Happenings calendars for the Icon. Many of the events will be covered in greater detail by the Icon as they get closer.
The calendar is a printer-friendly attachment at the bottom of this story.
