Jenna Fuller, Haley Moses honored by United Soccer Coaches
The United Soccer Coaches Association held its end-of-season luncheon in Baltimore, Maryland. Junior Jenna Fuller (Countryside, Ill./Lyons Township) and senior Haley Moses (Mason) were both honored.
Fuller was a first-team All-American selection after her spectacular 2019 campaign. She netted a team-high 20 goals, which was the most goals in a single season by a Polar Bear since 1997.
Fuller's 20 scores are tied for the most by any junior at ONU. She has 48 goals in her career, which ranks fourth all-time in school history, while she has also accumulated 113 points, which ranks sixth in program history.
Moses was a third-team All-American selection, and she was an integral piece in the middle of the pitch for Northern this season. She netted three goals in 2019 and logged her 20th career assist, which tied her for ninth all-time in school history.
Both Fuller and Moses were also named Scholar All-Americans by the United Coaches Association. Fuller was a first-team selection, while Moses was a second-team honoree.
The Polar Bears finished the season with an 18-3-3 overall record and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in school history. Northern also won both the Ohio Athletic Conference regular-season title — with a perfect 9-0-0 record — and the tournament crown.
