Lubinski and Adams OAC Swimmer of the Week
Sophomore Megan Lubinski (Milford/Brighton) helped Ohio Northern go 2-1 this past week and for her efforts was named Ohio Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week. The Polar Bears toppled Oberlin and Mount Union and fell to Kenyon.
Lubinski won a total of four events, while taking second in three other races. She swam a leg of the victorious 200-yard medley relay, and also added first-place finishes in the 200-yard individual medley, the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle.
Northern competes against Baldwin Wallace Friday before wrapping up the regular season at Case Western Reserve the following weekend.
Sophomore Jeremy Adams (Ypsilanti, Mich./Ann Arbor Pioneer) helped Ohio Northern go 2-1 this past week and for his efforts was named Ohio Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week. The Polar Bears toppled Oberlin and Mount Union and fell to Kenyon.
Adams won a total of six events. He helped the 200-yard medley relay team to a victory both Friday and Saturday, while adding individual titles in the 100-yard freestyle, the 100-yard breaststroke, the 200-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley.
Northern competes against Baldwin Wallace Friday before wrapping up the regular season at Case Western Reserve the following weekend.
