As temperatures continue to fall and frosts hit our ground, so will the leaves. If you are staying ahead of the game by continuing to rake to the tree lawn area, our crews greatly appreciate it! As in the past, the street crew will temporarily suspend pick up next week, as it is a short week due the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Leaf pick up will resume for the final, planned week on Nov. 28 – Dec. 1.
Once crews have finished with leaf pick up for the season, please bag any leaves and call the Village office to schedule a pick up.

Tougher penalties against vicious and loose dogs, as well as new restrictions aimed at owners who keep their dogs tied up all day, were introduced at the regular meeting of Ada’s village council on Tuesday night. Council members unanimously voted in favor of them during the first of three readings of the legislation.
The legislation was inspired by a pit bull attack last July in which a pit bull that had escaped from its pen charged and attacked one of two dogs owned by Jim and Jackie Meyer of Ada. Jim Meyer is the former village administrator of Ada.

"It always looks wonderful and takes many volunteers to make it all happen. Any bit of time you have to spare is appreciated," says Eileen Peterman of the Ada village.
She adds: "So, don your Christmas T-Shirts ☺ *optional* and help light up our downtown!"
