SANDUSKY – Ada High School senior Nathan Williams competed in the Div. II district tennis tournament at Tennis One in Sandusky on Wednesday, May 21.

The tournament was moved from an outdoor venue in Port Clinton due to rain.

In his round of 16 match, southpaw Williams lost to Ottawa Hills sophomore Chris Thompson 6-0, 6-0 and was eliminated. 

“Nathan wanted to get to districts and we got there,” said Ada first-year head coach Carter Bivens. “Unfortunately, he had a rough match.”

A soccer kick wall is going up and up at Ada's War Memorial Park thanks to a local Eagle Scout in the making. Daniel has shared his thanks "to all who donated and spread the word on his project!!" MAY 20 MEDIA RELEASE__The Ada Liberty Conservation Club held their annual fishing derby on Sunday, May 18. Prizes including gift certificates for local businesses, fishing rods and cash were awarded to both kids and adults.

Ceremonies held for Law, Pharmacy and Undergraduate/MSA

MAY 19 ONU NEWS__Ohio Northern University celebrated the achievements of its Class of 2025 during Commencement weekend, May 17-18.

Nearly 750 graduates were awarded degrees in three ceremonies. The College of Law held its Commencement on Saturday morning, while the College of Pharmacy and the Undergraduate/MSA ceremonies took place on Sunday.

The beautiful spring weather contributed to the jubilant mood as families and friends gathered to watch their graduates cross the stage and accept their diplomas. A rite of passage, commencement marks the culmination of years of hard work and the beginning of a new chapter in life.
