This strange looking bike serves two purposes.
It allows Riley Lamison to recover from an injury. Also, he can still be with his running mates on the ONU track team. Riley, a sophomore engineering student, has an injured hamstring.
Pedaling the elliptical bike helps him recover faster. He travels along with the ONU trackers as they traverse the town on foot to prepare for upcoming meets.
Ada Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual meeting at noon, Wednesday, Feb. 21, in the Wishing Well in McIntosh Center at Ohio Northern University, according to Deb Curlis, chamber director.
The meeting takes the place of the chamber’s regular monthly meeting.
The meeting will include a review of the chamber’s activities in 2017. In addition, the chamber will recognize a business of the year.
The chamber accepts nominations for that recognition until noon on Friday, Feb. 16. RSVPs for the dinner are also on the 16th. Tickets are $15 each.
The Ada-Liberty Township Fire and EMS was called to a two-alarm fire that destroyed the residence of Hugh and Eilma Reis, 0532 Hardin County Road 80 on Sunday evening.
Hardin County dispatch received a call at approxiimately 4:21 p.m. on Sunday. The call reported fire and heavy smoke coming from the house. The caller mentioned that someone may be entrapped.
According to the sheriff's office Mr. Reis is the only persons believed to be in the houseB at the time of the fire. Earlier this morning he had not be located and his whereabouts were unknown.
