Yes, Ada Flea Market was busy on Thursday morning. The downtown business, owned by Gus Guthrie, had a morning cash mob sponsored by the Buy Ada First Committee.
Parents and students of Ada schools are now aware of the new building security in place.
According to school officials in the Ada Elementary Back to School Newsletter:
“In an effort to keep improving security for the safety of our students, Ada Schools applied for and received a grant to fund the improvement of the main entrance to our building.
“Improvements for the 2014-15 school year include new doors to the elementary and high school offices and also an electronic entry system with an intercom.
“Once school begins at 8:35 a.m. each morning the doors from the vestibule to the high school and elementary offices will be locked.
