Laurie Watt can't wait to reopen Platinum Hair Design
Laurie Watt opened Platiunum Hair Design earlier this spring for two weeks, and was forced to close to due to state mandated business closings.
On Friday morning, May 15, the shop will reopen as a result of personal service businesses being allowed to reopen in Ohio.
"It's a great relief to me and we are excited to reopen," she told the Icon.
As Ada’s newest Main Street business owner, as she has assumed the ownership of a hair salon on North Main Street.
Renamed Platinum Hair Design, LLC, the full-service salon is located at 228 N. Main St.
“We offer perms, haircuts, color, waxing, manicures and pedicures,” she said. “Walk-ins and appointments are welcome and we service women, men and children.”
With Watt, who is a hair stylist, is Redd Harris, barber. Part-time stylists are Meagan Mullett and Jessica Robinson. Also working part-time is Justus Cheney, nail technician.
Shop hours are:
Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
