Ada Barnyard Farmers 4-H collecting Community Market receipts
By Cash Hazelton, Reporter
The Ada Barnyard Farmers have been meeting and moving forward with their 4-H plans for the 2020 year.
They have been meeting on Zoom to keep meetings going and everyone up to date. Earlier this year, we had election of officers.
This year’s officers are:
President-Alyssa Wince,
Vice President-Jilli Hazelton,
Secretary- Elsie Allen,
Treasurer- Melia Santillanez,
Photographer- Maire Boulanger,
Heath & Safety- Kayla Wince,
Recreation-Andrew Allen, and
Reporter-Cash Hazelton.
We did our favorite meeting, the annual barn tours, online. Everybody videoed their livestock projects and told a little bit about them. A lot of members have completed their demonstrations with videos online also.
We are now getting prepared for livestock judging and are excited to hopefully start meeting in person again soon. Our continuous fundraiser is collecting receipts from Community Market so if anybody has receipts they’d like to donate to the club, they can!
We want to thank the Extension Office for doing a great job keeping everybody connected in this time of distancing.
