Alger Public Library announces new patron guidelines
Alger Public Library announces its current guidelines with the Icon, according to Stacey Hensley, library director.
"We are booking appointments. Call 419-757-7755 to reserve your spot," said Hensley.
The library at 100 W. Wagner St., Alger, is open from noon to 5 p.m. and for those at risk or seniors. Patrons may contact the library about its special hours
1. No more than 15 people can be in the library at one time
2. Individuals will be allowed to stay for 30 minutes (no longer) to use a computer (we will be sanitizing the computer station after each use), find reading materials or choose DVD's. In between appointments we will be sanitizing the library.
We are asking that you not gather or linger in the library.
3. Individuals are required to wear a face masks/covering while in the library
4. Individuals are asked to wash or sanitize their hands when entering the library. We have a hand sanitizing station at the circulation desk.
5. Individuals must practice the social distancing of 6 feet.
"We also ask that you do not enter the library if you or anyone in your family is sick," said Hensley.
"We will still be offering curbside pickup as well, if you are not comfortable entering the library," she added.
