Traditionally summer is a busy place on the Ohio Northern University campus with dozens of high school students in a variety of camp settings.

This summer things are different on campus as all traditional summer camps for high school students are canceled due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Those canceled camps include: 
• Summer Academic and Honors Institute (SAHI) originally set for July.
• Summer music camp
• Camp GEMS, math and science for girls
• Piano camp for elementary and middle schoolers
• Football advanced camp
• Baseball prospect camp
• Boys’ team basketball shootouts
• Women’s team basketball shootouts
• Women’s basketball camp
• Men’s summer lacrosse prospect day
• Boys’ soccer prep camp
• Boys’ high school soccer team camp
• Girls’ high school soccer team camp
