Four costly turnovers spelled disaster for Ada as the football Bulldogs traveled to Paulding last Friday night and were defeated by the Panthers, 35-0. Ada’s fourth conference loss in a row drops them to 1-4 in the N.W.C. and 2-6 overall.
Paulding built a 21-0 first half lead behind an opportunistic defense that finished the game with two interceptions and two fumble recoveries in the shutout.

Who will win the Ada McDonald’s “Burger War?” It all up to the Ada community to beat Upper Scioto Valley, and that’s a tall order because USV set a record last week.
USV diners sold and served over $1,000 worth of McDonald’s food during the first of their two-hour stint last Monday. Ada’s turn is from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Both schools receive a percentage of sales, and the winning school gets a bonus. Last year USV took home $1,000 for winning the contest. Ada received a check for $700. Actually, both schools added to their coffers, so both won.
