Stephen R. (Herman) Sexton 1960 - 2020
Stephen R. (Herman) Sexton, age 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at 9:53 p.m.
He was born on Dec. 24, 1960, in Kenton, Ohio, to Robie and Beatrice Sexton. He was preceded in his passing by his parents and siblings: Phyllis McDaniels, Harold Sexton and Linda McGregor.
Stephen is survived by his daughter, Alexis Baker and her mom Heather Baker; siblings: Geraldine Cowen, Roger Sexton, Bob (Sue) Sexton, Gary (Janet) Sexton, James Sexton and Debbie (Wayne) Wells; over 25 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Stephen was loved by many and could sit down and talk about many things from current events, history, most sports statistics and antiques. He loved walking fields hunting artifacts. Even as we took him to his chemo he would see fields along the way and say, “Man I’d love to get into that field.” Steve believed in God and gave his heart to the Lord.
A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held on Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m., at the Wake Up The World Ministries at 600 East Brown, Bellefontaine, Ohio.
