JUNE 25 MEDIA RELEASE__Ada First United Methodist Church will be hosting True North Vacation Bible School July 14-18.

At True North VBS kids will discover that they can trust Jesus in a wild world! True North VBS is filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences kids see, hear, and touch. Hands-on science experiments, team-building games, creative crafts, tasty treats, and unforgettable songs.

This free program is for kids ages preschool - 5th grade.

JUNE 20 MEDIA RELEASE__Hardin DD (Hardin Board of Developmental Disabilities) marked a historic milestone last month, as Josh Gammon, a person served by the agency, was officially sworn in as a member of the Board of Directors for Hardin DD.

LIMA__The visiting Ada Gators summer swim team lost a West Ohio Aquatic League dual meet at the Westside Swim & Racquet Club on a hot Monday evening, June 23.

The Gator boys lost to Westside 284-124 to drop to 3-2 this summer. The Ada girls fell to the Waves 356-52 to lower their record to 1-4.

Westside thus won the boys-girls meet, 640-176. Ada is 1-4 this season in the combined meet category.

Adaite Lydia Demascio won two races in the girls 15-and-over age division to pace the Gator girls.

Ada’s Jacob Szippl also touched first in two events in the boys 15-and-over age group.
