Ada Junior Civic League changes its focus
After 72 years as a local civic group, the Ada Junior Civic League has decided to change the focus of the organization.
"The name stays the same, but it will be a social club going forward," said Linda Ferguson of the club. "However, we will continue to support the community in limited ways."
"We would like to thank the many loyal customers who have purchased pecans from us over the years, allowing us to give back to the Ada community anywhere from $500 to $1,500 each year. Sadly, we will no longer be selling pecans," she said.
