Boys' soccer: Eagles halt Ada's 3-game win streak

FINDLAY - The visiting Ada boys soccer team lost 11-1 at Liberty-Benton Thursday evening.
The defeat ended a three-match win streak and dropped the Bulldog boys record to 3-3 overall and 0-1in NCOSA play.
Perennial power L-B (4-1) was ranked 10th in the first Div. II NWOSSCA regional poll September 4.
Ada hosts Upper Sandusky Monday, September 14 at 5 p.m.
Liberty Benton stops Ada girls' soccer team
FINDLAY - The Ada girls soccer team lost 9-0 at Liberty-Benton Wednesday evening. The defeat dropped the Lady Bulldog record to 2-4 overall and 0-1 in North Central Ohio Soccer Association (NCOSA) action. Ada (1-2 away) plays at non-league foe Lima Senior Saturday, September 12.
Ada cross country, volleyball events postponed
ADA - The Ada cross country teams did not compete at the Riverdale Invitational Thursday evening as originally scheduled.
The meet was trimmed down to only a few teams due to health concerns. A total of 150 runners in a race is the limit this cross country season.
The Ada at Leipsic volleyball match set for Sept. 10 was cancelled last week due to a coronavirus outbreak on the Viking spike team. Ada attempted to host Riverdale instead, but could not get officials on late notice.
The Bulldog harriers run next at the Spencerville Invitational Saturday morning, September 12.
The Ada volleyball team (4-2, 3-0 at home) opens Northwest Conference play at home vs Columbus Grove Tuesday, Sept. 15.
After playing four matches in six days last week, the Bulldogs spikers will have been idle for 10 days by the time they play CG (3-3).
