DOLA - Ada senior Leona Dalton slammed two three-run homers and pitched the visiting Lady Bulldog softball team to a 15-5 win at county rival Hardin Northern Monday evening.
Ada improved to 1-0 this season with the season-opening win, while HN fell to 0-1 with the loss.
Dalton led a 15-hit Bulldog offensive attack with four hits and six runs batted in. She also struck out six Polar Bear girls over seven innings to earn the pitching victory.

DOLA - The visiting Ada baseball team rallied to edge county rival Hardin Northern 10-9 Monday evening to win their season opener.
Ada improved to 1-0 with the victory, while HN fell to 0-1 with the defeat.
Bulldog sophomore right-hander Roman Snyder earned his initial pitching victory, while senior Jacob Morgan finished in relief to receive his first save.
"Itís always nice to get the first win of a season," said Ada veteran head coach Jason Campbell. "The boys never gave up, chipped away at their lead, and played hard for seven innings.

Senior Mackenzie Wills was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 22-28.
Wills became Ohio Northern's all-time career singles victories leader, leading ONU to a 9-0 non-conference victory at Marietta on Saturday at Beran Tennis Center.
Wills won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for her school record 84th singles victory, breaking the previous record she shared with Meghan Letizia, who accomplished the feat from 2012-16.
She also won 8-0 at No. 2 doubles.
Wills is also second all-time at ONU with a career record of 165-48 and is 5th all-time with an 81-30 mark in doubles matches.
The first 100 youth who attend will receive a bag of Easter treats. The event will continue until 3:30 p.m., or until the 100 bags are gone – whichever comes first.
