The Ohio Northern women's soccer team won the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season title outright with a 6-0 victory at Mount Union on a chilly Saturday night at Mount Union Stadium.
The Polar Bears extend their winning streak to 11 matches, end their regular season at 15-2-2 overall and are a perfect 9-0-0 in the OAC. ONU won its seventh OAC Regular Season title in program history and its third in the past four seasons.
The Purple Raiders end their season at 5-10-2 Overall and 1-7-1 OAC.
The juggernaut that is the Ada High School quiz bowl team rolled to impressive wins in its first two tournaments of the year.
In winning its first-ever Whiz Quiz competition, held annually at WTLW-TV in Lima, Ada advanced to the semi finals by knocking off Patrick Henry and Elmwood.
In the second night of taping, Ada beat Crestview and Riverdale to capture the crown. The competition will be aired on WTLW in February and March.
In NWC competition held at Ada, the Bulldogs rolled to an 8-0 tournament record in racking up its third consecutive Northwest Conference crown. The wins also give Ada a current 24-match winning streak over the past three years.

ADA - Visiting Allen East reeled off 30 first period points and defeated injury-riddled Ada 50-8 in their annual backyard rivalry game to close the Northwest Conference and regular season on a cold Friday night at War Memorial Stadium.
The Mustangs clinched a three-way share of the NWC title with the victory, as well as their first playoff berth since 2006.
With the defeat, the purple and gold finished 2-8 overall and 1-6 in NWC play for the second straight year. The Mustangs improved to 9-1 overall and 6-1 in the NWC with the lopsided win to capture their first league crown since 1995.
Ohio Northern wrapped up the road portion of its 2019 football schedule with a 63-24 loss at No. 2-ranked Mount Union on a sunny and chilly Saturday afternoon at Mount Union Stadium.
The Polar Bears (4-4 overall, 4-3 OAC) were led by junior All-American Christiaan Williams (Sidney/Anna), who carried the ball 28 times for 125 yards and two scores.
The Purple Raiders (8-0, 7-0) scored on their first seven possessions to lead 49-3 with 5:48 left in the third quarter.
Williams capped a 12-play, 75-yard drive with a 1-yard run to get ONU within 49-10 with 38 seconds left in the third quarter.
