The North Central Ohio Waste Management District (NCOWM) office is now open to receive your household hazardous waste (HHW). The District's office, located on 215 Shawnee Road, Lima, offers household hazardous waste recycling to households only and electronic waste recycling to residents and businesses in Hardin and Allen Counties. By utilizing NCOWM district's services, you are keeping harmful items out of landfill.
Ada Public Library is prepping for their summer reading program - a Universe of Stories. The library is requesting donations of items to aid in summer reading projects. Items are listed below:
paper towel rolls
toilet paper rolls
2 litre bottles
20 oz. bottles
Gatorade bottles
empty yogurt cups
cardboard boxes
packing peanuts
bubble wrap
cookie cutters (any shape - metal or plastic)

The final Young Mom Support Class will be this Friday, May 31, hosted by the Alger Public Library. Each class is from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. in the library.
Following a national search, Charles H. Rose III has been named dean of the Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University, effective July 1.
Rose is currently professor of law and director of the Center for Excellence in Advocacy at Stetson University’s College of Law in Gulfport, Fla. Stetson University College of Law has been ranked the No. 1 school for trial advocacy 21 times by U.S. News & World Report, most recently in its 2020 rankings. Rose has served as the director since 2008.

TIFFIN - Four Ada track and field athletes competed in day two of the Div. III regional meet at Tiffin's Hoernemann Stadium Friday evening, with one making it to the state meet.
Bulldog junior Nora Dellifield advanced to Columbus by finishing fourth in the pole vault Friday. She is the first Ada girl to ever make it to the state meet in the pole vault.
In other Bulldog finals Friday evening, Ada senior Noah Mattson finished ninth in the shot put, while junior Philip Gautier came in 12th in the high jump. Senior Miguel Jordan ended up 14th in the 800 meters.
