LIMA - The Ada boys golf team finished second in a three-team non-league match Wednesday at the Tamarac Golf Course.
Leipsic won with 184 strokes, with Ada second (227) and Lima Senior third (257).
Junior Andrew Rush paced the Bulldogs with a nine-hole round of 54. Junior Dexter Woods shot 56, and senior Jacob Morgan carded a 58. Sophomore Geddes Klingler was the fourth Ada scorer with a 59.
Freshman Jack Baumgartner (62) and junior Kamron Wilkerson (75) rounded out the Bulldog scores.
The Bulldog linksters are now 3-26 this season.
Ada plays league foes Lincolnview, Bluffton and Delphos Jefferson in a makeup match at the Bluffton Golf Course Tuesday, September 22.
The Northwest Conference championship meet is set for Thursday, September 24 at Colonial Hills Golf Course, hosted by Allen East.
