Hardin commissioners and Hardin chamber have small business relief grants available
The Hardin County Commissioners in partnership with the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance have developed a Small Business Relief Program to provide Hardin County small businesses with some monetary relief of the business interruption costs caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic in the form of grants of CARES Act funding.
The Icon understand that there are 20 grants available, which total $5,000 each.
The application process started Oct. 21. The grants are first-come first-serve and it is the recommendation of the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance to promptly apply for grant dollars.
Grants will begin to be awarded on Nov. 24, and end on Dec. 18.
The Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance is engaged to assist in administration of the program and is willing to assist businesses with the application process.
The Alliance recommends downloading and filling in the application and then either emailing directly to:

• [email protected], or
• dropping off applications to the Hardin County Commissioners Office
(1 Courthouse Square, #100), or
• Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance Office
(225 South Detroit St.).
• Mailing in the application to either addresses is not recommended.
