Jacob Poling sets single-game record with 8 goals

ADA - The Ada boys soccer team whipped visiting Tiffin Calvert 9-2 in the regular season finale Thursday night at the park.
The Bulldogs improved to 8-8 with the lopsided victory.
Senior Jacob Poling set a school single-game record with a whopping eight goals to give him 32 on the season.
Senior Ian Dellifield also tied the Bulldog one-game program record with five assists in the blowout win.
Fourth seed Ada hosts Otsego Wednesday, October 21 at 5 p.m. in sectional first round play. The winner then takes on ninth seed Mansfield Christian Saturday, Oct. 24 at 3 p.m.
Unbeaten top seed Bluffton looms in the district semifinals at Tiffin Columbian Wednesday, Oct. 28. The district finals are set for Saturday, Oct. 31 at Tiffin.
Riverdale is seeded second and Van Buren third in the 12-team district.
