Kenton soccer teams stop Ada's teams under the lights

KENTON - Kenton defeated visiting Hardin County rival Ada 5-2 in a non-league boys soccer match Saturday evening at Robinson Field.
The defeat dropped the Bulldog record to 8-7. The Wildcats improved to 9-3-2 with the non-league victory.
Senior Jacob Poling tallied his 24th goal for Ada. Bulldog Carter Conley netted the other purple and gold score.
Wildcat Kyle Kirk put the game out of reach 5-2 on an unassisted goal with 47 seconds left to play.
Bulldog senior Ian Dellifield made eight saves in goal. Ada freshman keeper Colton Long also was credited with eight stops.
The Bulldog boys play host to Tiffin Calvert Thursday, October 15.
Ada girl kickers shut out by Wildcats
ADA - The host Ada girls soccer team lost 4-0 to Kenton under the lights Saturday night.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to 3-11 with the defeat. The Lady Wildcats improved to 5-6-1 with the victory.
Ada trailed just 1-0 at the half but Kenton put the game out of reach with two goals in the final five minutes.
Bulldog junior goalkeeper Olivia Green enjoyed one of her best games.
The Bulldogs (1-4 NWC) play at league foe Delphos Jefferson (4-8-1, 2-2-1 NWC) Monday, October 12.
