Council okays 2021 village wage scale
Last night Ada council approved a 2021 wage scale covering its employees.
The scales covers five salaried and nine hourly employees and is effective with the first full pay period beginning Jan. 3, 2021. It includes an pay increase of 1.5 percent.

Council also agreed to offer Jared Arnold a conditional offer of employment as a part-time police officer for the Village of Ada.
Arnold is a graduate of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy. Michael Harnishfeger, police chief, told council that a background investigation of Arnold is completed. The next is a conditional offer of employment based on successful completion of a psychological examination.
