Ohio Northern University students left campus today for a long break between the fall and spring semesters.

As covid-19 changed many patterns in Ada this fall, one of those changes was to the Ohio Northern University calendar. In it, the seminar started in early August and ended today, Nov. 20.

 The revised calendar is one way in which the university is following guidance from the CDC regarding the coronavirus.

T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, pullovers, caps, beanies, scarfs…and yes, masks!

It’s time for a new set of Bulldog sportswear, and the Ada Academic Boosters have a deal for you. Actually, the boosters have 43 deals for you.

The Academic Booster apparel sale is underway now through noon, Thursday, Dec. 3. All orders received will be delivered to the Boosters by Friday, Dec. 11.

This winter’s selection includes all the new Ada Bulldog logos released this fall. There is merchandise for youth and adults with prices ranges from $10 to $50.

Over 10 tables of gently used jewelry

Heartbeat of Hardin County is having a $2 Jewelry Sale on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27, and 28, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  at the Heartbeat office, 220 E Franklin St., Kenton,

There will be over 10 tables full of earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets.  All items are gently used in good condition.  Every piece is $2.  There may be a table with higher priced items.  

All proceeds support Heartbeat of Hardin County and cash only will be accepted.

Julie Zaring, executive director, said, “These proceeds will provide funds
to operate the office and help those families who are expecting or have
children under four."

Carrie L. Slone, 65, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at 12:04 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. 

Justin L. "Jud" Dearth, 82, passed away on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at 7:30 a.m. at Mercy Health-St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
