Jennings "Jink" Richards was retired from Ford Motor
Jennings P. “Jink” Richards, 86, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at 4:58 a.m. at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on April 14, 1934, in Quincy, West Virginia, to the late David Lee and Ida (White) Richards. On Dec. 23, 1974, Jennings married Ruby Wireman and she preceded him in death on June 11, 2015.
Jennings retired from Ford Motor Company of Lima, where he worked in the Small Parts Division. He was a member of the Ada Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by four sons: Barry Scott of Lima, Bill (Heather) Scott of LaPeer, Michigan, Mark (Lesley) Richards of Ada and Matt (Christy) Richards of Findlay; two daughters: Susan (Michael) Gossard of Lima and Pamela (Harold) Hughes of Temperance, Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
It was his wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
