Richland Manor residents prove spirit of serving others doesn’t diminish with age

Upon entering Richland Manor, the hallways and family rooms are filled with laughter, friendly conversation, music, and the voices of residents and their loved ones. 

Whether the campus is hosting a monthly Family Night celebration, a community event, playing a game, or simply welcoming residents to their next meal in the main dining room, you can feel the caring and compassionate attitudes of the staff and residents all around.

OHSAA board adopts recommendation to add 7th football division

The Ohio High School Athletic Association will be adding a seventh tournament division in football beginning in 2013, Commissioner Daniel B. Ross has announced. The addition of a seventh division was approved by the OHSAA’s Board of Directors by a 6 to 3 vote during its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday.

Ohio Northern University will host internationally renowned Iranian-American scholar Trita Parsi in the ballroom of McIntosh Student Center on Tuesday, April 24, at 7 p.m.

Ready, Set, Grow Preschool open house April 30 - summer plans announced

Ready, Set, Grow Preschool is excited to invite you to an Open House on Monday, April 30, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Please come and tour the preschool and meet our teachers!

Registration is now open for the 2012-13 school year. 2012-13 brings changes to our previous hours. In 2012-13, Ready, Set, Grow Preschool will offer Morning (8:30-11 a.m.) and Afternoon (12-2:30 p.m.) classes three, four, or five days each week. We accept students that are age 3 (and potty-trained) to age 5. We offer rolling enrollment throughout the school year as long as class space is available.

 

ONU vs. Notre Dame in football? Well, yes, in a manner of speaking

 

Students from Ohio Northern University’s T.J. Smull College of Engineering have created a team of robotic football players to compete in the fourth annual University of Notre Dame robotic football competition on Friday, April 20, at 7 p.m. in Notre Dame’s Stepan Center. The event is free and open to the public.
