Bob Simmons re-elected as Ada council president in 2021
Bob Simmons was re-elected as Ada council president during the council reorganization meeting earlier this month.
Council committee chairs were also designated for 2021 at the meeting and those persons follow:
• Finance, Noah Ristau
• Streets, Sheila Coressel
• Building and grounds, Terry Keiser
• Safety, Jeff Oestreich
• Personnel, Bob Simmons
• Utilities, Lind Mason
• Economic development, Bob Simmons, Terry Keiser
Council members appointed as representatives to the following boards:
• Ambulance board, Sheila Coressel
• Planning commission, Jeff Oestreich
• Negotiation committee, enterprise zone, Bob Simmons
• Enterprise review committee, Linda Mason
Council will continue to meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6:30p.m. in the council chambers of the municipal building. Council meetings in 2021 will continue to be virtual until further notice.
In council action in December, Micheal Gibbs was hired as a waste water treatment plant operator. Ashley Sumner was also rehired as the 2021 Ada swimming pool manager.
