AUBURNDALE, Fla. — The Ohio Northern baseball team swept Wentworth (Mass.) 10-0, 7-4 on Wednesday afternoon in a twinbill during the RussMatt Invitational in Auburndale, Fla. The Polar Bears improve to 4-1.
Senior Jason Burkett (Maumee) led the way for Northern during the contests, going a combined 4-for-6 at the plate and adding a game-one pitching victory to his afternoon. Burkett also tallied four RBI and three runs scored.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Heidi Trachsel and the 4-H pledge led by Emori Criner. Roll call was answered by naming your favorite fast food place. New members received green folders to keep all the handout materials together.

Liberty Village Preschool, 725 W. North Ave., Ada, will offer screening on Thursday, March 8. The screening is through the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center.
