We are honored to serve our community through the United Way of Hardin County. This year we get the privilege to serve as the 2018 Campaign Co-Chairs. We are serving in this capacity because we sincerely believe in the United Way of Hardin County and the assistance they provide to the many families and individuals in need. This year our theme is “Red, White & U…United We Can!”
Betty J. Yoast, age 80, died on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:50 a.m. at Lima Manor of Lima.
She was born on March 8, 1937 in Hardin County, Ohio to Charles and Lottie (Steele) King who preceded her in death.
Betty was a homemaker.
She attended the Lima Baptist Temple Church.
Betty is survived by a son, Harold (Dawn) Yoast of Lima; and two daughters: Elaine Yoast and Diane Caraway both of Lima; three grandchildren; a brother, Robert King of Lima; two sisters: Katherine Marshall of Sturgis, MI and Mildred Shepherd of Marshall, MI.
She was preceded in death by a sister Helen Spencer.
"Bringing Memories Out of the Shadows” is the theme for ONU’s Homecoming events Sept. 22-24. The annual event offers an opportunity for former students to return to campus and connect with their alma mater.

Ada’s 32nd annual Harvest and Herb Fest, sponsored by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, takes place Saturday in downtown Ada. The weather forecast looks for a perfect day for a street festival.
This year’s festival is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. As in past year’s, it will fill Ada’s Main Street from Highland to College. Main Street will be closed at State Route 235 all the way to State Route 81.
The festival has over 120 vendors already signed up.

This unique page will keep viewers updated on all activities and news announcements from BVHS, which includes Bluffton Hospital.
