Ohio Northern University is holding children's auditions for the “Holiday Spectacular” on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 4 p.m. at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Ohio Northern University.
Looking for singers and dancers ranging in age from 5-12. Children may be asked to sing and should be ready to participate in a dance call (jazz and/or tap shoes).

Ohio Northern University has been honored as a College of Distinction for the 2014-15 school year in the 15th annual “Colleges of Distinction” guide.
“Colleges of Distinction” is a web-based guide for high school juniors and seniors trying to identify a school that is nationally recognized and highly recommended by professionals in the field of education. Colleges and universities are nominated for participation by high school counselors and then evaluated using qualitative and quantitative research.
Some high-level painting is underway on Ada's Main Street this week. The top of the building that houses Beacon Realty, 208 N. Main St., is getting a new coat of paint. In our photo shoot, the Icon had difficulty trying to chose which view to post.
