Philip R. Quattrocchi was retired from Ohio Northern University
Philip R. Quattrocchi, 91, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. at his residence in Ada.
He was born on Feb. 6, 1930, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Andre and Jennie (Lanza) Quattrocchi. On June 9, 1957, Philip married Betty E. Tarr and she preceded him in death on Feb. 27, 2002.
Philip retired from Ohio Northern University, Ada, where he was the Recreation Manager at McIntosh Center. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran. Philip was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Ada. He was a member of the Ada VFW Post #9381 and a former member of the Italian American Club in Lima.
Surviving are his two daughters: Christine (David) Sutcliffe of Westlake and Nancy Sanford of Delaware; four grandchildren; and a brother, Tony Quattrocchi of Baltimore.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, one brother and two sisters.
Attendance will be restricted at the funeral and visitation based on space to accommodate social distancing requirements. Face coverings must be worn while attending visitation and service.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 300 E. Highland Ave., Ada, with Father Edward Shikina officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada with graveside military rites conducted by the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
