She deserves to be mourned…

Well over 100 years ago, the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, Ohio Alpha chapter, notably, pioneered the construction of the first fraternity house in the country, specifically built for fraternity use; a piece of magnificent history and point of pride for Ohio Alpha, Greek Life, Ohio Northern University, and Ada.

MEDIA RELEASE__All Pre K-5th grade children are invited to attend VBS at Ada FUMC on July 13-17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Dinner will be provided for students and volunteers from 5-5:30 p.m.

To register more than one child, submit the form for the first, and then click the link again for another registration.

FROM FACEBOOK__Liberty Conservation Club, 1552 SR 235, has announced an all you can eat fish and chicken fry on Saturday, July 11.

Prices are Adults: $15, Kids 12 & Under: $10.

Hours are 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Meals include fish, chicken, potato wedges, vegetables, applesauce and coleslaw.

Are you looking for that exciting bike ride to ride that creates the well-known O-H-I-O?

FROM FACEBOOK__Registration is live for the 10th Annual Cursive Ohio Charity Ride on September 5 organized by Ada farmer Austin Heil: https://www.bikereg.com/cursiveohio.

A 6th-generation farmer, Heil writes, "This year the funds will support https://agrability.osu.edu/. The Ohio AgrAbility Project is part of a national program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture that assists farmers and other agricultural workers with disabilities by providing the resources and support they need to live independently and continue or return to work in production agriculture."

The bike ride includes rest stops with water and snacks roughly every 15 miles. There will be a lunch with smoked brisket and sides along with homemade ice cream.
