The Village of Ada Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15 and with emergency actions passed an ordinance prohibiting adult use cannabis operators and medical marijuana cultivators, processors and retail dispensaries from operating within the Village of Ada. The ordinance which had previously been renewed every six months, was allowed to expire earlier this year. With no applications currently in process, council members opted to reinstate the restriction as a precautionary measure, this time without a set expiration date.
ADA – The Ada High School boys soccer team lost 8-1 to visiting Liberty-Benton in a key North Central Ohio Soccer Association match at War Memorial Stadium on Thursday evening, September 18.
The Bulldog season record fell to 6-3-1 overall and 1-2 in the NCOSA standings after the defeat.
The Eagles improved to 8-1-1 overall and 3-0 in NCOSA play following the decisive victory.
“Liberty-Benton has a lot of quality players on the field, they are good,” said second-year Ada head coach Aaron Acheson. “Our effort was there.“

This American comedy grossed over 91 million dollars in the United States during the year. In a funny way, the movie discusses the issues of going back to school and difficulties that can arise.

ARLINGTON__The visiting Ada High School volleyball team lost a tough four-set bout to Arlington in a Blanchard Valley Conference match on Wednesday, September 17.
Ada dropped game one yet evened the match with a second-set win. But a close overtime loss in game three tipped the momentum in favor of the hosts, who closed it out in four.
The Bulldog girls dropped to 10-3 overall and 2-3 in the BVC after the 25-20, 18-25, 26-24, 25-21 road defeat.
The Red Devils improved to 7-7 overall and 2-2 in the BVC with the home win.
