Ada HS graduation will be an in-person event
Ada High School commencement will be an in-person event this year. Here's details about the Sunday, May 30, graduation from the Ada school website:
Ada High School graduation will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 30, in the varsity gym in accordance with current Ohio Department of Health and Hardin County Health Department event guidelines.
Graduates should arrive between 1:15 and 1:30 p.m. and report to the ‘86 gym upon arrival.
Each student will be provided with four tickets for family and friends. Tickets will be available electronically.
More information about claiming tickets will be coming soon. If state guidelines allow for an increase in capacity, the district will adjust the number of tickets accordingly.
The district will be livestreaming the ceremony through Facebook.
Guests will enter the high school gym through the double doors on the north and east side of the building.
Guests will exit through the same doors following the ceremony. Families are asked to sit together and socially distance from other guests. Congregating on the lawn is discouraged.
All guests will be required to wear masks when entering the gym, during the ceremony, and upon exiting the building.
