Girls' and boys' track squads win tri-meet

ADA - The host Ada boys and girls track and field teams each won a home triangular meet Wednesday evening at the park.
The Bulldog boys outscored Ridgemont 68-52.5, with North Baltimore third at 43.5 points.
The Ada girls finished with 79.5 points to easily out-distance second-place North Baltimore (42) and Ridgemont (29.5).
Lady Bulldog sophomore Courtney Sumner won two individual events (long jump, 200 meters), and ran a leg for two first-place Ada relay quartets.
Other Bulldog winners were freshman Matthew Frazier (discus), freshman Olivia Burkhart (100 meters), junior Carter Nelson (shot put), senior Brenna Hissong (400 meters), junior Riley Ferguson (800 meters), sophomore Antonio Pettit (300 hurdles), junior Olivia Green (300 hurdles) and senior Kesewa Akyeampong (discus).
The Bulldog girls swept all four relay events, while the Ada boys won two relay races. The Bulldog boys took the top three spots in the discus as well.
