Harding sweeps Bulldogs baseball

MARION - The Ada baseball team was swept in two run-rule shortened games at Marion Harding Saturday.
Ada dropped to 1-3 with the 13-3, 12-1 non-league defeats. Meanwhile, MH improved to 3-2 with the pair of victories.
The Bulldogs led 3-2 in game one before MH reeled off 11 runs in the third through fifth frames to win going away.
In the nightcap, the host Presidents led 2-1 after the first frame. They extended the lead with four runs in the second inning.
MH plated two runs in the fourth and four more scores in the fourth frame.
The Prexies out-hit the Bulldogs 20-11 in the two games.

The Bulldogs play at McComb (1-2) Tuesday, April 6. They then host Columbus Grove (1-1) Thursday, April 8 in the Northwest Conference opener.
Ada's game vs. local rival Cory-Rawson (1-3) Thursday, April 1 was postponed due to cold. No makeup date has been set yet.
The Ada contest at Waynesfield-Goshen (1-3) slated for Friday, April 2 was also called off and rescheduled for April 21 at W-G.
