It's powerhouse Shawnee over Ada

ADA - The host Ada tennis team lost 5-0 to powerhouse Shawnee on a chilly, windy Thursday at the park courts.
The Bulldog netters dropped to 2-5 after their third straight loss to a bigger Western Buckeye League opponent. Shawnee improved to 9-1 with the convincing victory.
All five varsity matches were decided in straight sets.
Ada senior Miranda Wills (3-4) lost at first singles to freshman Gabe Burke.
Bulldog junior southpaw Dexter Woods III (6-1) suffered his first defeat of the season at second singles to sophomore Mason Stahl.
Ada junior Brendan Jameson lost at third singles to sophomore Mac Davis.
At first doubles, Ada senior Cole Anspaugh and sophomore Amelia Alexander lost to senior Brayden Ward and soph Niel Ok. Bulldog second doubles duo Colton Biederman and Brendan Kah fell to senior Adam Stump and freshman Seth Grieshop.

1st singles: Gabe Burke (S) defeated Miranda Wills (Ada) 6-0, 6-0
2nd singles: Mason Stahl (S) def. Dexter Woods (Ada) 6-2, 6-2
3rd singles: Mac Davis (S) def. Brendan Jameson (Ada) 6-1, 6-0
1st doubles: Brayden Ward/Niel Ok (S) def. Amelia Alexander/Cole Anspaugh (Ada) 6-1, 6-1
2nd doubles: Adam Stump/Seth Grieshop (S) def. Colton Biederman/Brendan Kah (Ada) 6-1, 6-0

Daniel Koh/Noah Swallow (S) def. Geddes Klingler/Ashlyn Madison (Ada) 6-1, 6-3
Ada visits Elida (1-5) Monday, April 19 to kick off three straight road matches. They also visit Lima Senior April 21 and St. Marys April 22.
