Wills keeps her tennis winning streak going
Senior Jordan Dodson (Worthington) won 4-6, 6-0, 7-5 at No. 6 singles to break a 4-4 tie and lift the Ohio Northern women's tennis team to a 5-4 victory at Otterbein on Wednesday afternoon at the Otterbein Tennis Courts.
The Polar Bears remain undefeated at 4-0 overall and ar 3-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Cardinals fall to 1-1, 1-1.
ONU overcame deficits of 3-1 and 4-3 to earn the victory and stay on top of the OAC regular season standings.
Senior Katie Curry (Oxford/Talawanda) posted a pair of victories, winning 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles and 8-5 with sophomore sophomore Regan Landis (Elkhart, Ind./Concord) and No. 3 doubles.
Freshman Olivia Kesner (Lima/Central Catholic) won 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and senior Mackenzie Wills(Ada) won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 4 singles for ONU.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday at home against John Carroll at Otterbein.
