Ada girls softball seeded 5th

ADA - The Ada girls softball team was seeded fifth at the 13-team Elida Div. IV district tournament drawing Sunday.
Ada (10-9) will host county rival Hardin Northern (1-15) Monday, May 10 at 5 p.m. in first round sectional action.
The Lady Bulldogs beat 11th seed HN in the season opener 15-5 at Dola March 29.
The Ada/HN winner will advance to the second round vs. the winner between third seed Wayne Trace and 13th seed Cory-Rawson. That game will be played at the higher remaining seed Thursday, May 13, with the winner moving onto the district semifinals.
The district semis will be at Elida Tuesday, May 18. If the seeds go according to form, the Ada/WT survivor would likely face top-seeded North Baltimore (13-5) in the semis at Elida.
The district finals are slated for Saturday, May 21 at Elida.
Ninth seed Bluffton (4-11) plays at sixth seed Leipsic (7-7) Monday, May 10 in first round action. The Pirate girls beat the Vikings 5-1 April 30. The winner will then play at second-seeded Lima Central Catholic Thursday, May 13.
LCC earned a first round bye.
Ada (fifth seed), Arlington (10), Bluffton (9), Columbus Grove (4), Cory-Rawson (13), Hardin Northern (11), Kalida (8), Leipsic (6), Lima Central Catholic (2), McComb (7), North Baltimore (1), Ottoville (12) and Wayne Trace (3) comprise the sectional.
One seed NB also received a first round bye.
