School board will meet with its attorney
The Ada school board will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, in the board room.
According to an announcement from the superintendent’s office, the meeting is to discuss a legal matter and/or to consult with their attorney and discuss a pending or imminent legal matter.
This is the third special meeting called by the board since April 20 when the board met on that date to conduct a hearing under the disciplinary procedure for an employee. The board accepted the resignation of cafeteria worker Angela Wurst at the end of that meeting.
The board also met on May 3 for the purpose of hiring an employee. That hire was for Vince Halliday, hired as next school year’s varsity boys’ basketball coach.
