Kathy Lacher 1947 - 2021
Kathlene “Kathy” Lacher, 73, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 3:47 AM at her residence in Harrod, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1947, in Lima, Ohio, to Ralph and Beatrice (Hunnaman) Watkins. Her father, Ralph preceded her in death. Kathy was raised by her mother and step-father, Jonah Adkins. Her mother, Beatrice Adkins survives in Ada, and her step-father preceded her in death.
On August 1, 2000, Kathy married the love of her life, Jerome “Jerry” Lacher and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2007.
Kathy was the hostess with the mostest. She loved her family with every ounce of her being and was happiest when they were all under one roof.
Kathy is survived by her three sons: James (Carmen) Pinks of Harrod, Ferlin (Teri) Pinks of LaFayette and Dee (Amanda Simmons) Pinks of Grove City; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; three brothers: LeRoy Watkins of Alger, Richard Watkins of Ada and Ralph (Kathy) Watkins of Alger; and three sisters: Bonnie Summa of Shawnee, Judy (Robert) Howard of Lakeview and Teresa (Greg) Kindell of Alger.
A celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, at the Harrod Event Center, 9520 Harrod Road, Harrod, Ohio 45850.
