Ada council members will see a 2020 village financial summary when it meets on Feb. 2.
It will show that while the village general fund revenue fund was budgeted at $2,098,563, the actual 2020 revenue exceeded that thanks for funding to the village from the Federal CARES Act.
According to Patty Navin, village fiscal officer, the CARES Act funds were distributed into several funds. These included the general fund, swimming pool fund, public works fund, health and welfare fund and the Ada-Liberty Township ambulance fund.
The 2020 budgeted expenses were $2,154,970, and the actual expenses were lower, at $2,006,661.

This guy sits in the front window of Ruthie's on Main Street, watching the snow fall. He's one of several polar bears making their home in Ada. No doubt, he's cheering on the snow as most of us wish for spring weather.
