St Mark's Lutheran Church is hosting a free community dinner on Wednesday, August 30. 

Meals will be served from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m.--or until they run out--at St Mark's,125 S. Johnson St. Ada.

This month the menu includes pulled pork, corn casserole, cole slaw, applesauce and cookies.

The invitation notes: "As always, the meal is free and open to the public and you may dine in, carry out, or drive up for curbside pickup.  We look forward to serving you. See you there."

The Ada High School girls soccer team stayed undefeated with a 3-0 road win at Lima Senior in Spartan Stadium Saturday.

Ada improved to 3-0 with the victory.

RAWSON--The visiting Ada High School varsity volleyball team defeated local foe Cory-Rawson Saturday morning in three sets.

The Lady Bulldogs improved to 4-1 after the convincing 25-17, 25-14, 25-10 non-league win.

Ada High School senior Ethan D’Souza opened his cross country campaign at the Delphos St. John’s Blue Jay Invitational meet Saturday in Stadium Park.

D'Souza finished a solid 24th in the 116-runner field with a time of 17:54.45.

KENTON– Rita Radway, Treasurer of the Hardin County Republican Women, delivers a check to the Hope for Everhart Committee Chair, Brice Beaman.  

The Republican Women are conducting a t-shirt sale and have raised $2,000.00 to date. The organization made the donation to the committee to assist Keith Everhart with his medical expenses following a liver transplant.
